The LightEnerG(TM) Premium Switchable Ballast is a magnetic ballast that’s capable of switching between Metal Halide (MH) and High Pressure Sodium (HPS) bulbs, as well as 120v and 240v. Changing between MH and HPS bulbs can be done by simply flipping the specialized switch.
Use either the 120v cord provided with the ballast or a 240v power cord (available separately) and plug into the end plate. No additional wiring is necessary. The aluminum housing is specially designed to dissipate heat and keep components cool, and a top of the line Aerovox capacitor is also included. The lamp cord receptacle accepts all LightEnerG lamp cords and reflectors.
